Nufonia Must Fall
February 2018
I collaborated with Ashton P. Drake to create an interactive projection installation for the Society of Performing Arts Houston. Our installation was displayed at the pre-show event for Kid Koala’s Nufonia Must Fall performance at the Jones Hall for Performing Arts in downtown Houston.
We projected-mapped generative visuals onto triangles mounted onto a wall. The visuals move and react with the sound of the music being DJ’d. Each triangle is constructed from laser-cut bristol paper.
The projection mapping was accomplished using Resolume Arena, and the visuals were created using Processing (a Java-based visual programming language) and Synesthesia.
