Solange's 2019 album "When I Get Home" is a nostalgic love letter to her hometown Houston. I created a mapped representation of the Houston streets she chose as song titles on the album—connecting the references in her music to the physical city. (Beltway was excluded because of its comparatively large scale.) The colors used were inspired by the album's cover art, as well as the magenta clothing worn in Solange's performance piece, "Scales".
